Our main goal at St. Joseph Parish is to offer a variety of Faith formation classes to help support the parents, who are the first and primary teachers of the faith of their children. Our catechists, who are volunteers, have attended numerous workshops to help develop their teaching skills and to update their certification.
Faith Formation classes always being on Catechetical Sunday, which is the third Sunday in September and come to a close on the first Sunday in May. classes from Pre-K to 8th are held at our Mother of the America's Parish Faith Center. A Faith Formation Class consists of attending a classroom setting from 9:30am to 10:30am and then attending the 11am Mass at St. Joseph Parish. If a student faithfully attends another Mass, such as the 8am, 12:30pm or the Saturday Vigil Mass at 5pm, this fulfills their obligation.
